Emo-ing...

Well, yeah, and back with a new post. Honestly, I don't know what to talk about today...nothing exciting really happened.

Oh, except the news of the Temasek Wind Ensemble getting silver for SYF instead of gold. I can see that many band members (those in my class) are really sad...but its okay, ya'll get 'em two years later :3

I had speech day rehearsal today. I got gastric pain halfway through it. I ate lontong for lunch, and I hardly finished half of it. The glutinous rice stuff (the one you eat with satay) was kind of...bland. So, minus the rice, what's left of lontong? Tofu, cabbage and a fried potato ball. (that's not a typo!)

How is a growing girl suppose to survive on that?

The whole prize presenting part, honestly, was horrifically boring. I mean, what's so entertaining about seeing people you don't know waltz up on stage, collect an envelope and waltz back down? Oh yes, and the path back to our seat, after we've collected our prizes is really long, as we have to walk around the different 'blocks' of chairs.

The performance part was much better. There wasn't really many items...Band (percussion), Dance, ASEAN scholars dance, Acapella (spelling?) group and Chinese Orchestra. In other words, they were mainly made up of Aesthetic groups.

After the whole rehearsal, I found it difficult to walk because of the excruciating pain in my tummy. So I went downstairs to the canteen and bought a Char Siew (chicken meat) Pau. I practically stuffed the whole thing into my mouth. I could still feel pain in my poor li'l tummy, so I bought 3 Siew Mais and covered them in chilli sauce. After eating those yummy Siew Mais, I still felt hungry, so I bought myself a chocolate soya bean drink from the vending machine. Only then did my stomach cease to burn.

Oh yeah, now I'm broke...I've been spending alot of money on chocolate soya bean milk and paus lately. I plan to buy myself 3 Siew Mais tomorrow and cover them in chilli sauce.

Yay, condiments!

I eat muffins <3

I got a new haircut today! Its horrendously short...Like seriously, I don't know how I'm suppose to tie my bun for ballet tomorrow...It has got me a bit worried honestly. Oh yes, and my side fringe is gone...(imagine simultaneous gasping in the background). Instead, I got this sort of Fann-Wong-In-Her-Recent-Hospital-Drama sort of hair. Its basically a straight fringe above my brows. If a leave some hair at the side of my head and tie the rest, I look so...cute....like, ew..

Oh yesh, I plan to start a blogskins and deviantart account. So keep an eye out for my first blogskin!

I still eat muffins <3

I seriously plan to buy one of them...(or both, if I save up enough). Unless, of course, someone gets it for my b-dae....

:3

I got a free bible at school today. Its really small, pocket-sized, probably for those impromptu moments when you need inspiration. Like in the toilet, when you are having constipation, or before an examination. Then, it hit me...its Good Friday tomorrow. Actually, it hit me ages ago...I've been counting the days to this grand and not to mention, inspirational day...oh, and its a holiday~

Oh yes, for everyone's infomation, Temasek Secondary wasn't giving out bibles. It was the men standing at the school gate. I actually told the man I didn't really want a pocket bible, but he told me to "just take it". I bet he has supernatural powers - he must've sensed my trouble and emo soul, so he gave me something to help cope.

Today I had to attend the speech day rehearsal. Surprisingly, it took the awardees a total of 2 hours to learn to walk on stage and collect a prize. When I bowed on stage, this teacher (I don't know her name) saw my fringe drop, covering my face. So she told me to pin it up on Speech Day. Mr Lim (for my primary school classmates info, he is my form teacher) saw this and told me my fringe was long or something. So I was like, "Ok..". After the rehearsal, he saw me leaving the hall and came over. Then he told me about the teacher telling me off about my fringe. He then told me to look down. I did, and not a strand of hair fell. Why? 'Cause I had already pinned up my hair. Then he was like, "Eh?"

But not to worry, dear followers, I am still a goody-two-shoes and will get my fringe shortened.

Salutions one and all!

Yeah, I'm blogging today...told ya I'll be regular in posting.

Nothing really happened today really. Class 2A had its 2nd english test. I think I have every right to say everyone has a phobia of english tests, after the...ahem, 1st english test. It was quite easy I suppose. I'm not sure, as the last time I thought it was easy, but I got shockingly horrid marks. One good thing, it was the shortest english test ever. It only had like...5 questions, 5 MCQ, and about 7 or 8 vocab words.

So that's it, what can I say? It was just plain uneventful today....

Chiow~

As I wait for my Milo to chill, I've decided to blog.

Alot of things happened today. Unfortunately, none of them are as interesting as they sound. With my superior skills of literature and composition, I narrate them in a way such that they are worthy of being plots of action movies starring Tom Cruise and other less important people.

Actually, that was a joke. Since when was anything about me superior?

So, today I was suppose to attend the speech day rehearsal (2hours 30 mins). At first I was like, "WHAT? WE NEED 2 HOURS AND 30 MINS TO LEARN TO WALK ON STAGE AND RECIEVE A PRIZE?", but the air con eventually cooled me off. After just sitting there (with the other prize winners) for 40 minutes or so, the teacher-in-charge dismissed us. Why? 'Cause many awardees didn't bother to go. So what was I to do? I went to Maths Olympiad to surprise Amaryllis and Sarah, who thought I wouldn't be there. I walked in and was like, "Hi teacher" and sat down. That guy doesn't mind.

After Maths Olympiad, Sarah and I caught the MRT train from Tanah Mera MRT station. Then, something big happened.

I didn't have space in my bag to put my lunchbox in it, so I was forced to place it on the stack of books I was carrying in my arms. Then, as we were talking, the lunchbox (empty) dropped on the floor. This wasn't a problem, but for some reason, upon falling, the lunchbox continued to roll and roll. Eventually, it rolled down the MRT tracks. I knew the train wouldn't explode or something, as it wasn't on the metal bar in the middle of the track the MRT actually travelled on. However, Sarah feared the explosion. So we went to the other side of the platform, with the intention of calling the passenger service station with the nifty emergency phone. But, the fine for misuse was $5000 and we were pressured by the number of zeros. Just then, a knight in pink uniform (the MRT staff) came out from the lift. We asked about the train and whether it would be in danger, and he said there wouldn't be. He asked if the lunchbox was of great importance, and if I would like to have it retrieved, I denied. In the end, the train came and nothing in particular happened to it.

Oh yes. A woman was actually watching us when the lunchbox rolled off the edge of the platform. I wonder why she didn't bother to give us advice or help. She just stood there, like any *snort* considerate and helpful S'pore citizen. (sarcasm) However, I am afraid she thought we were running away from the scene of the crime, when we walked to the other end of the platform. What if she complains to Temasek's dear principle?

I truly hope not...

I think my Milo would be chilled by now....

Yoooo~!

Isn't amazing that I'm actually blogging? Well, I made it a point to login today for your entertainment...(gosh, I hope people still go to my blog...afterall, I haven't blogged in centuries!)

Well, I just spent more than half the day studying my history. 3 chapters! My goodness, I'm gonna die...Oh yes, I have seen the light, and I'm not emo anymore...technically, I was never emo, but hey, I need something to blog about.

Ahem...Oh yeah, yesterday I went out with Yijun (as usual) and Caleb (Gasp!!). Why? To watch Mr Bean's Holiday of course. Well, actually Seran was suppose to come along, to accompany Caleb, but he ended up going off with his other friend, leaving poor Caleb with us. So of course, Yijun and I went to the arcade, like he wanted to. It was strangely awkward, really. I mean, usually, when its just Yijun and I (or any other girls, really) we follow this schedule:

But yesterday, we stayed in the arcade and played random shooting games. I played the House of the Dead with Caleb, and yelped and screamed a few times. I also hit the screen of the machine with my gun a few times. I think I shot something, but Caleb probably did all the shooting. After Mr Bean's Holiday, YiJun and I played that game on our own. We lost at the first level...I don't even think we got halfway through the first level. After Caleb left, we then went off to Minitoons to buy gummies and to Sans bookstore. We eventually bought fried sotong and said goodbye....

That reminds me, the movie was awesome! It was so funny, especially at the end. I give it 5 stars! I'm trying to persuade my mum into buying the DVD, for my viewing pleasure. Its the best movie ever, and I give it 5 stars!!

Gotta go study teh history (again) now...
